Event Description:

The AGIC UAS Work Group is pleased to announce that we will be hosting a virtual fly-in! The event goals are to provide a robust learning experience for all people interested in drones, including the novice through the professional (no drone or license required!).

The first seminar on June 30th focuses on pre-flight mission planning and data collection. Raw UAV data, data collection metadata and links to trial processing software will be provided to participants. Following part one, participants are encouraged to process the data and report back to the group during part two on July 21st. While the first seminar is focused on the first half of a drone project life cycle, the second seminar session’s emphasis is on the second half, processing the geospatial data. Best practices and a comparison of different software will be discussed. If you are interested in a fun and enlightening conversation on UAV’s this is a great opportunity for you! Please join us and feel free to share the event information (a flyer is attached).

When: June 30, from 10 AM - 12 PM & July 21, from 1PM to 3PM

Registration for this event is closed.
