New lidar dataset covering the Kaibab Plateau, AZ

The Kaibab National Forest recently released to Open Topography the 2012 high resolution LIDAR data for the North Kaibab Ranger District.  This data was originally used to study Goshawk habitat on the Kaibab Plateau in Arizona.  The Kaibab National Forest is in the process of acquiring new 2019 LIDAR data for the North Kaibab Ranger District.  With these two datasets, researchers will be able to study long term structural change of the forest, with a specific focus on the impacts of fire. The Kaibab National Forest is excited to see what uses the public has for this data.   Open Topography plans to demo some of the tools available to the public using this data at the upcoming AGIC Symposium in October.
